Frequently Asked Questions

Where will our sessions take place?

All sessions are virtual, so you can show up from wherever you feel comfortable (as long it’s in the states of MO or NC) – your couch, your car, or even mid-walk if that’s what helps you feel most at ease. As long as you have a solid WiFi connection and a private space, we’re good to go.

How long will I be in therapy?

It depends on your history and goals, but most people work with me for one to two years, with longer-term support if needed. My job isn’t to keep you in therapy forever – it’s to give you the tools to navigate life on your own while knowing I’m here if you need to check back in.

Do you take insurance?

I accept United Healthcare for residents of Missouri & North Carolina. For all other out-of-network situations, I can provide you with a treatment receipt (superbill) for our sessions to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. You can find more information about your right to receive an estimate for your care here.

Hi, I’m Brandi –

It’s exhausting to be the one who always holds everything together – especially when that started long before you even had a choice.

When you grow up managing everyone else’s emotions, setting boundaries feels impossible, asking for help feels unnatural, and slowing down? Not an option.

I know that cycle a little *too* well, and I want to help you break it – without second-guessing yourself the whole way.

Therapist for people tired of hearing “You seem to always have it all together!”
